As some of you may know may know, I am really into aging, older adults, and social constructions of what it means to be 'old.' This something we are all doing, all the time--so easy to take for granted. Anyhoo, media that portrays older adults in a positive light just makes my day. When I am feeling ho-hum this blog just perks me up! Voila! Instant smile! Yes, and I know that I am one of the few people who looks forward to growing older (whatever that means!)--can you say 40?! I am almost there and it just make me giddy with excitement!! 60? Yeah!* Okay, well if you ever come across websites, news, and random pieces of information that you think would put a smile on my face, post them.
*Caveat: Of course this depends on many things. Chronological age markers are not the same for everyone.
